Puddle of Mudd!

Have you guys heard the new song from Puddle of Mudd ‘Stone’?

They continue to release catchy songs which started back in 1992 in Kansas City.

What do you guys think of their latest track?

The Secret Handshake!

Are any of you guys familiar with this band? Well since 2004, Luis Dubuc of Dallas, Texas started the one man band! Looking for some pop rock music to cruise too with the windows down? Check out our favorite, an oldie but goodie “Coastal Cities”!

The latest, ‘All for you” comes from the album ‘My Name Up in Lights” and was released in 2009. Dubuc was inspired by the 90’s feel good music & wanted a record that was based on having fun and driving around with your friends. Were stoked for new music to release soon!

In the meantime check out Coastal Cities & see why we love The Secret Handshake!

Op hits Times Square!

Loving the new Op billboard out in Times Square!

Owl City!

Happy Wednesday! Today we wanted slow things down and talk about how much we adore ‘Owl City’. In 2007 Adam Young launched Owl City from his hometown of Owatonna, Minnesota. His soft, emo- pop sound is one that you’re sure to love! In 2009 he released ‘Ocean Eyes’ which was number 27 on the Billboard 200.

Owl City supports “record day” which started three years ago and is celebrated on April 17th to support music artists (did any of you support your local independently owned record stores this past Saturday?)

We first fell in love with Owl City’s ‘Fireflies’, which became one of the most downloaded songs on ITunes in the US and in Canada in 2009 and made UK’s top 40 singles chart at number 1 in January.

Check out ‘Vanilla Twilight’ the new track from Owl City!

Adam is on the road with sold out shows until early May and will be touring with A Fine Frenzy and John Mayer so be sure to check out the listing dates and grab tickets! (http://www.owlcitymusic.com/shows.aspx)

Hanson still hanging on!

Your favorite pop band brothers are back & have some done growing up! Their 1997 song MMMbop stole the hearts of teenage girls and with its catchy lyrics their debut album “Middle of Nowhere” led them to three Grammy nominations.

“Shout it out” is the brother’s upcoming album set to release June 8th 2010 with the debut song “Thinking bout somethin” which is defiantly far from the MMMbop days. Inspired by 50’s and 60’s rock and roll with a little bit of soul, pop and r&b this song is definitely going to be a crowd pleaser that will make you want to get up and dance.
